Character first
Old paint, worn surfaces and signs of use are part of an item’s story. We’d rather preserve that character than polish it away.
A fondness for things that work
Old machines.
New custodians.
Old Haven Yard is a home for vintage engineering, workshop equipment, old country items and curious objects.
We believe the best old objects carry more than age. They show invention, skilled hands and the evidence of real use, often reflecting a quality of engineering that was built to stand the test of time. We look for pieces with that quality, from complete working machines to useful parts and restoration projects.
Each item is photographed and described individually, with most offered through eBay so buyers have a familiar, secure way to ask questions, make an offer and complete a purchase. Higher-value items may be handled directly, allowing us to liaise with prospective buyers about the item, viewing, collection and transport arrangements before a sale is agreed.

Worth preserving
Pieces of history belong in workshops, collections and gardens, not gathering dust in a forgotten corner.
